Individualized Supports for Students with Problem Behaviors
By: Lee Kern, Linda M. Bambara

This book focuses on and can be used to implement the basic design of positive behavior supports for all kinds of exceptional students including those with autism, learning disabilities, severe intellectual disability, and emotional/behavioral disorders. Behavioral problems at all levels and strategies for addressing them are discussed. This book also shows how to perform an FBA with illustrative examples and focuses on using a collaborative team approach.

This book is targeted toward teams that work with children on an educational basis, however, it is great information for the parent who wants to gain as much knowledge as possible to advocate for their child. It gives insight into what happens in a school, and will provide a foundation for the parent who wishes to follow through with consistency in behavior supports at home.
